At this past Saturday''s "Domination" event, put on by Tedd Williams'' Gladiator Challenge, the fans got to see what the GC brand of fight action is all about. There were TKO''s galore as fighters did their best to dominate, but there were also some slick submissions thrown in for good measure. All in all, it was a fantastic evening of fights, and California''s best regional promotion can''t wait to return to Red Hawk Casino!
Hunter Worsham, the son of GC matchmaker and longtime MMA fighter Cal Worsham, showed he the skills to fill his dad''s shoes. He submitted the game Phil Brown with an armbar at 2:43 of the 1st round.
Also, Mike Gonzalez took out David Hornyak to take possession of the GC Native American Light Heavyweight title.
And in the main event, Gladiator Challenge Heavyweight Champion Angel De Anda showed he was a worthy champion by smashing Ivan Pack in the 2nd round of their anticipated bout. After a scintillating first round, the champ turned it on in the 2nd, and with both fighters tiring, they began to trade blows.
