Colusa Casino Resort & Gladiator Challenge are back at it again! Gladiator Challenge is proud to announce that we have signed a long term multi-fight deal with the beautiful Colusa Casino Resort.
From 2001 thru 2006 Gladiator Challenge & Colusa Casino brought you 36 live Mixed Martial Arts events. Some of today’s biggest MMA stars like Uriah Faber, Rashad Evans, Scott Smith, James Irvin, Quinton Jackson, and many more all got their MMA starts at Colusa Casino. Come watch history again, as the Gladiator Challenge creates the stars of tomorrow right in front of your eyes.
Friday Night, July 31 2009 the Gladiator Challenge will return to Colusa Casino for 10 plus MMA fights! You’ve seen it on TV; you’ve talked about it at work, now come out and experience it live at Colusa Casino Resort (530) 458-8844!
In the first scheduled main event of the night, the current Gladiator Challenge Middle Weight Champion Steve Eldridge puts his belt up as he takes on local favorite and always tough Jeff Morris. When asked about his up-coming title shot, Morris said “ Good Luck to Steve, he is a good fighter… but I am better” “I have fought the tougher opponents Scott Smith & Jaime Jara to name a few. I have been waiting for this title fight for a long time, and Steve is just a hurdle in the way”
In the second main event, Local favorite Super HWT Rick Vardell challenges the current Gladiator Challenge Super HWT Champion Ross Clifton. Both of these fighters made their MMA debut at Colusa Casino in 2001…. And now they will put it all on the line for the Super HWT World Title.
